Bio
The 2017 winner of the Honda Cup is Katie Ledecky, one of the most decorated swimmers in history. A four-time NCAA individual champion and member of Stanford’s 2017 national championship team, Katie also captured multiple Pac-12 titles during her collegiate career. On the international stage, she has won 13 Olympic medals, including eight golds, across the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Games. Katie is also a 21-time World Championship gold medalist and holds multiple world records in freestyle events, including the 800-meter and 1500-meter. In 2024, her memoir Just Add Water was published, and she continues to train and compete with Team USA.
