Bio
The 2018 winner of the Honda Cup is Stanford swimming superstar Simone Manuel. A six-time NCAA individual champion, Simone also helped lead Stanford to back-to-back NCAA team titles in 2017 and 2018. Internationally, she has won seven Olympic medals across the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Games, along with 13 World Championship medals, and has held world records as part of multiple U.S. relay teams. While Simone continues to train and compete, she also serves as an ambassador for the USA Swimming Foundation’s Make A Splash initiative, advocates for mental health awareness, and leads the Simone Manuel Foundation, which promotes water safety and diversity in swimming.
