Bio

In 2011, UConn basketball legend Maya Moore became only the second two-time winner of what was then known as the Honda-Broderick Cup after sharing the award in 2010 with Penn State volleyball standout Megan Hodge. In her historic career as a Husky, Maya led UConn to back-to-back undefeated national championships in 2009 and 2010 and was named the 2010 Women’s Final Four Most Outstanding Player. A four-time First-Team All-American and All-Big East selection, she was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft. Maya went on to win four WNBA titles, earn 2013 Finals MVP honors, and capture Olympic gold medals with Team USA in 2012 and 2016.
