Bio

The 2016 winner of the Honda Cup is Connecticut basketball standout Breanna Stewart, who led the Huskies to four consecutive NCAA championships and became the only player in NCAA history to be named the Women’s Final Four Most Outstanding Player four times. She was selected first overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2016 WNBA Draft and helped lead the franchise to WNBA championships in 2018 and 2020, earning WNBA Finals MVP honors both times. Breanna is a seven-time WNBA All-Star, a six-time All-WNBA First Team selection, and a three-time Olympic gold medalist with Team USA in 2016, 2020, and 2024. She currently plays for the New York Liberty.
