Bio
The 2001 winner of what was then known as the Honda-Broderick Cup is Jackie Stiles from Missouri State University. Jackie was a three-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and became the first NCAA Division I women’s player to score more than 1,000 points in a single season. She led the Lady Bears to the 2001 Women’s Final Four and ended her collegiate career as the NCAA’s all-time scoring leader with 3,393 points, a record that stood until 2017. A first-round pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft, Jackie was named WNBA Rookie of the Year, but retired from playing pro basketball due to injury in 2007. She now inspires others as a trainer and motivational speaker.
