Jordan Bowers and Audrey Davis from the University of Oklahoma, Oregon State University’s Jade Carey and Aleah Finnegan from Louisiana State University have been announced as the four finalists for the Class of 2025 Honda Sport Award for Gymnastics, as revealed today by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA).
The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA for the past 49 years, recognizing the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports and symbolizing “the best of the best in collegiate athletics.” The recipient of the sport award will become a finalist for the prestigious Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the 2025 Honda Cup, which will be presented during the live broadcast of the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Presented by Honda on June 30, at 7 pm ET, on CBS Sports Network.
The gymnastics finalists were chosen by a panel of experts and coaches from the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA). The Honda Sport award winner for gymnastics will be announced later this week after voting by administrators from over 1,000 NCAA member schools. Each NCAA member institution has a vote.
Bowers, a two-time Honda Sport Award finalist, capped a standout season by winning the 2025 NCAA All-Around title and finishing as floor runner-up while leading Oklahoma to its seventh national championship. The senior hailing from Lincoln, Neb., earned First Team All-America honors in all five events in 2025, bringing her career total to 28 All-America selections (12 regular season, 16 NCAA).
A four-time Honda Sport Award finalist, Carey delivered a record-breaking 2025 season, winning the AAI Award and claiming 51 event titles across 13 meets—sweeping the all-around and beam at every appearance through the regular season. The senior from Phoenix, Ariz., holds Oregon State records for career event titles (168) and perfect 10s (16).
Davis wrapped up her collegiate career as a two-time AAI Award finalist and 14-time All-American. She has a 100-percent hit rate in 2025 and has hit 256 career routines in a row. She helped lead Oklahoma to its seventh NCAA title. A graduate student hailing from Oakland, Fla., Davis finished the regular season with a final ranking of No. 1 on uneven bars.
A 2025 AAI Award finalist, Finnegan helped propel LSU to a No. 1 national ranking and top seed in the NCAA Championships. The senior from Lee’s Summit, Mo., is a 13-time All-American, the eighth-highest total in program history, with five honors earned during the 2025 season. Finnegan captured the SEC beam title and recorded standout season highs of 9.950 on vault and bars, a perfect 10.0 on beam, 9.975 on floor, and an all-around best of 39.725.
The CWSA, now in its 49th year, celebrates the nation’s top NCAA women athletes for their excellence in athletics, leadership, academics, and community service. Since its partnership began in 1986, Honda has provided more than $3.4 million in institutional grants to the universities of award winners and nominees, supporting the growth and success of women’s athletics programs.
